Izzy has done 100% better on her walks. They have been pleasurable for both her and me, thanks to you showing me how to walk her properly without pulling.

It was also so helpful to us first time dog owners to attend the Puppy Social. It's like learning a whole new language, but I feel so much calmer and more competent, and we all benefit from the joy of having a sweet puppy!

After our class with Gail, I took our dog Max out yesterday in our backyard, where he did his 'business'. Unfortunately, I forgot a poop bag. Rather than bring him in and then go back out with him, I placed him in a 'sit/stay' while I went to get the bag. He was right where I left him when I came back!  Thank you! Allan P.

We have much work to do still, however, this dog was definitely more of a challenge than my others. Brigit now sits and stays when we step out the front door, sits or lies quietly when I take her with me on my errands, has stopped stealing shoes ('Leave It' command has been HUGE in my house), sits patiently while I feed another dog and two cats, and more.

I have been to so many puppy training courses with my various dogs, but yours is the first that teaches the really useful behaviors that you want to see in every day life. Thank You

The first piece of 'homework' in our Basic Obedience class at Make Sit Happen made us believers! This week we were in Maine and were out for dinner at Boothbay Harbor. The town is pet friendly, and dogs are welcome everywhere. We spent 2 hours eating, and she just sat next to me and didn't even pull once! It made all of the painful days practicing at home so worthwhile!

Like you said, we wouldn't master everything in 7 weeks, but the things my dog now does well make our life so much easier!

The class is over but I know that if I had a problem with my dog, I could call Gail! I would definitely recommend this class!

Gail is knowledgeable, professional and her training style works for all types of dogs and humans - and lets face it, humans need as much training as dogs. Her class sizes are controlled which allows Gail to independently address concerns for each individual dog while at the same time teach in a group setting.

What can I say. WE (and I include my dog in the ‘we’) just Love Gail at Make Sit Happen. He was socialized at the puppy socials, we just finish Obedience II and we are getting ready to take Rally training next.

When we acquired our new puppy last September, I was looking to find a way to start socializing him. Little did I know that I would find a trainer as competent as Gail!
